This is a passion project inspired by Dr. William Horatio Bates, who placed an eye chart in classrooms and his natural approach to improving vision for kids across the state of North Dakota. In this personal design challenge, I explore a new way to create compelling and multipurpose art for your home. The words and artwork are inspired by Sol Brah, a social advocate for natural health, sunshine, and positive affirming words. Here’s my take on designing an appealing and functional eye chart.

inspiration
Sol Brah is an advocate for sunshine health and positive messages impacting the way you see and approach life. Sol Brah often advocates that saying outloud, "I have unlimited energy", will rewire your brain to give your mind and body more energy just by declaring it to yourself. The world is what you put into it. I have always been inspired by vision boards, natural health, and positive energy. Through this inspiration, I decided to make an eye chart based on the "Sol Way". Choosing Words
Keeping readability + accuracy + spacing in mind when choosing words and phrases. Using heirarchy to organize word phrases in the smaller letter sizes & shorter words in the larger letter sizes.
